Visitor's Reception
If you are new to Saint Andrew's, visiting just for the day, or considering membership, you are invited to attend a short reception in the fellowship hall immediately following the second morning worship service. This is an informal opportunity to learn more about Saint Andrew's, meet other visitors, our pastors, and some of our elders, deacons, ministry directors, and staff. Light refreshments will be available.
Christmas Eve Candlelight Services
Christmas Eve Candlelight services will be held at 3:00 and 4:30 p.m. with music from the Chancel Choir, and at 6:00 p.m. with a soloist providing special music. Overflow seating will be available in the fellowship hall.Christians in the Workplace: Glorifying God in Our Vocations
Come and hear from three members who have experience in the fields of journalism, medicine, and public service as they recount God's faithfulness to them in their careers. Topics will include discovering one's calling, navigating the challenges of maintaining Christian values in the workplace, and the resilience required in the midst of change. Following the talks there will be a time for questions. This seminar is free and open to everyone interested in exploring how faith integrates with one's workplace.
Lake Mary Women's Bible Study
This women's Bible study of 1 and 2 Timothy begins January 13 at the Finamore's home in Lake Mary. Study materials are available in the church bookstore for $12. Please sign up below or contact the church office for more information.
Tuesday Morning Women's Bible Study
Mimi Acosta will lead a study on the book of Acts each week except for the first week of the month when the women gather for prayer. Childcare is available only for children ages 4 and under.
Women's Bible Study Discipleship
Women's discipleship classes will resume in the fellowship hall on Thursday mornings January 23-May 8 from 9:15-11:15 a.m. and on Tuesday evenings January 28-May 13 from 6:15-8:15 p.m. These studies will continue using the book we began in the fall, "Luke" That You May Have Certainty Concerning the Faith" by Sarah Ivill.
New Members' Class
If you would like to become a member of Saint Andrew's Chapel or are interested in learning more about the church, please attend this 8-session class, which is required for membership. If you have any questions about this class, membership, or attendance, please call the church office.
Communicants' Class
Parents who believe that their children have exercised saving faith in Christ are invited to enroll their children in the communicants' class. There will be an informational meeting on January 12 in the fellowship hall after the second worship service to explain the purpose of the class, answer questions, and help parents determine if the class is an appropriate choice for their child at this time. Parents are encouraged to attend this meeting if they have a child registered for the communicants' class.
